Communication strategies for the transition of employees to an open work environment

The manager of facilities must use a variety of abilities to ensure an effective and successful transition of employees to an open work environment. One ability that is essential to enlisting employees' support and excitement for change is communication. The effectiveness of the facility manager will be aided by the use of a procedure to drive change and a communication plan to involve staff in the relocation's reactions. This study addresses employee reactions to change and offers models for a change process that was effectively used to oversee the relocation of a corporation's regional office. Four useful tools are also provided, which can assist the facility manager in creating a communication plan to facilitate a smooth transition to an open work environment. (An employee reward and recognition process | Emerald Insight, 2019) .

An employee reward and recognition process

One of the more contentious aspects of quality management is still recognition and reward schemes for certain employees. Even though talks on this topic of quality management have recognized its significance, they frequently blame the system's failure on the way it was implemented. With limited success, this organization has tried multiple times to create a system for rewarding and recognizing personnel; as a result, the numerous methods have lost favor with the workforce. A new procedure for employee reward and recognition has been devised by the company's quality committee. It is based on an objective evaluation by supervisors, fellow employees, and internal customers. outlines the company's reward and recognition program, explains the categories employed, an overview of the acceptance process, and a review.(An employee reward and recognition process | Emerald Insight, 2019)

 Create a Positive Work Environment

The exploratory qualitative study was intended to find out what effective managers in healthcare organizations do to maintain a positive work environment. Employee satisfaction surveys were used to identify and interview managers who demonstrated excellent behavior. Additionally, focus groups with those under them were held. It was discovered that three kinds of behaviors—setting the climate, keeping performance on track, and tapping employee potential—are used by effective managers to establish healthy work environments. An outline of a healthy workplace was created, along with a model. This model can serve as a model for leadership development programs and be integrated into managerial behavior and competency standards. (Includes one figurine.)(Kroth, Boverie and Zondlo, 2024)

Developing Managers′ Ability to Empower Employees

The attempts of one MNC to create strategies for empowerment are examined. The multicultural analysis of employee demands conducted by the company's Australian, German, and Japanese companies was the foundation for these strategies. Employee requirements patterns differ across the three countries, even though the desire for control is evident in each. Numerous variations and patterns exist in the relationships between the needs for economic stability, belongingness, recognition, self-worth, and control. Empowerment solutions that allow employees to fulfill their need for control can only be translated from one culture to another with considerable alterations due to the large disparities in employee needs patterns. To empower an employee, very little is needed in some situations, while nearly nothing is effective in others. It clarifies why, in an MNC, the same degree of influence (Developing Managers′ Ability to Empower Employees | (Emerald Insight, 2024)

The influence of organizational culture and HRM on building innovative capability

This investigation, which provides a list of practices specifically aimed at innovation, increases our understanding of the mechanisms by which HR practices have an incremental effect over organizational culture on an organization's capacity for innovation. Additionally, it implies that decision-makers will gain from integrating a variety of general and innovation-focused HR practices, which will have a bigger impact when applied in extremely successful cultural contexts. (The Influence of Organizational Culture and HRM on Building Innovative Capability | Emerald Insight, 2019)

Role of Supportive Leadership as a Moderator between Job Stress and Job Performance

Employee performance is seriously affected by stress, which is a significant issue in the workplace. If leaders support their staff, this issue can be solved. The purpose of this study was to investigate how supportive leadership influences the relationship between job stress and job performance in a mitigating way. One of the key elements in improving worker performance in companies is supportive management. In this study, 200 workers from four academic institutions were taken into account. A carefully thought-out survey was used together with data. Studies show that supportive leadership directly affects job performance and hurts job stress. Additionally, the study showed that the relationship between these aspects is controlled by supportive leadership. Recommendations for more research are provided at the end of the paper. Management and Business Review, [online] 4(9), pp.487–495. doi:https://doi.org/10.22610/imbr.v4i9.1004.
